This is an awesome easy recipe for a Christmas goodie. Just like rice krispy treats but with Frosted flakes instead. So festive, fun, and simple. These are also great to do with kids!!!
Here's what you'll need...
1/3 cup margarine or butter
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon green food coloring
6 cups of Frosted Flakes® cereal
Red cinnamon candies/ red mini chocolate chips/ red squeezable frosting(That's what I did)
I doubled this recipe to make4 extra to bring to people
First melt your butter in a pan.
Add in your marshmallows and mix until melted
Add in your green food coloring until its the green you would like.
In a separate bowl place your frosted flakes and start to add in your mixture. Make sure you code it extra well by mixing it with a spoon.
Take out some wax paper and 1/4 a cup greased measuring cop. Place 1/4 mixture on sheet.
Grease your fingers and make a hole in the middle of the mixture.
After about 5 minutes add your frosting. Top with cinnamon red hots or red chocolate chips.
Store in bin with closed lid so they don't dry out.
Enjoy!!!
