Hawaiian Chicken Teriyaki in the crock-pot is such an easy recipe and is delicious. It super quick to throw everything in the pot before work and come home to a delicious meal. I like to serve this on a bun as if it was pulled bbq chicken or on top of rice is very good as well. Enjoy!
Here's what you'll need...
4-6 Boneless Chicken Breasts- frozen or thawed
1 Tbs of Soy Sauce
1/2 bottle of Hawaiian Style Barbecue Sauce or Teriyaki Sauce- Pick your favorite but Target has a great bottle( make sure its thick)
1 can Pineapple Chunks
1 Tbs of Garlic salt
Salt and Pepper to taste
1/2 cup of green onions- optional
I believe that the Hawaiian style BBQ sauce taste better the the Teriyaki sauce- But that's just me!
First Place your chicken in the crock-pot. Add your garlic salt, salt, and pepper.
Next add your 1/2 jar of sauce on top of the chicken as well as the Tbs of soy sauce.
Last but not least add your pineapples with half the juice
Cook on low for 6-8 hours. If your chicken inst frozen it will cook faster.
Take a fork and shred your chicken up.
I like to serve this on a bun, or on top of rice.
Enjoy!
